ArkExpress was invited to design a stylish architecturally designed split level home that integrates seamlessly onto a sloping site that provides sustainable living. The site has water view towards the front and a fall of approximately 10m from the rear to the front. Sutherland Shire Council was initially reluctant to approve a 6m cut into a rock to achieve a driveway into the site but we got it through at the end. Currently under construction.
Project Achievements
– The design takes into consideration the orientation of the land and maximises passive solar gain and light, ensuring the home is as energy efficient as possible.
– Our design was planned to fit seamlessly with the natural lay of the land and the surrounding area while maximising space, light, sustainability and livability.
